4th International CEURES Workshop on Urban Resiliency

Central European Urban RESiliency is supported by the Visegrad Fund. The mission of the CEURES project is contributing to urban resiliency in Central Europe through finding best practices and sharing the knowledge among urban planners, local governments and young professionals within a powerful cooperation of Urban Development Association - UAD (HU) as lead partner, University of Hradec Kralove (CZ), Leszczycki Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization, Polish Academy of Sciences (PL), Forum Regional Development Centre (SK) and PONTIBUS EGTC (SK-HU).

The recent years have brought challenges to Central Europe. The effects of climate change on urban environments, the raging war in Ukraine, security concerns (potential disasters due to misfire, sabotages, etc.), and the refugee situation on the Eastern borders of the EU are all current issues for our settlements in the V4 countries. Therefore, our project aims to identify best practices as regards these challenges in the V4 region and to share knowledge among urban professionals in order to help with preparing our villages and towns to cope.

We invite you to the 4th International CEURES Workshop (January 26, 2024, 10 am) if you feel like learning about real best practices of urban resiliency from Central Europe from renowned experts of V4 countries and be part of the discussion!
