The Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization from 2020 participates in the innovative ESPON IRiE project - Interrregional relations in Europe. The project concerns many types of flows (e.g. trade, migration capital, tourism) between 297 NUTS2 regions in Europe.

On 17 February 2022 the ESPON website published a discussion of the results obtained by the team from IGSO PAS. They concern the variability of links across the eastern border of Poland (with Ukraine and Belarus) in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic. They show detailed dynamics of cross-border mobility of people, workers and students. We invite you to read.
