STUDIA GEOMORPHOLOGICA CARPATHO-BALCANICA


General information

Studia Geomorphologica Carpatho-Balcanica  is an annual set journal published since 1967 year. In period 1967-2010 it was published by Commission of Geographical Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences, Cracow Branch. Since 2011 journal is published by Geographical Commission of Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2011-2018, the co-publisher was St. Leszczycki Institute of Geography and Spatial Organisation Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2019, the journal is published by the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and by the Geographical Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. It is simultaneously an organ of the Geomorphologic Carpathian-Balkan Commission. The Commission associates geomorphologists from Central Europe. Research problems presented in the journal embraces all aspects of the relief evolution of the Carpathian-Balkan system. Papers concern other mountainous areas of the world are also published. The journal from the outset is edited in the Department of Geoenvironmental Research (former name Department of Geomorphology and Hydrology of Mountains and Uplands), S. Leszczycki Institute of the Geography and Spatial Organisation, Polish Academy of Sciences.
